Palenke Band are London's leading Latin American Dance Band , formed in 1990 with the collective talents of Fernando "Kinacho" Suarez and Lisandro Zapata .
Both are highly professional performers and are widely experienced in the Latin & Jazz scene .
The band's eclectic repertoire is passionate , dynamic and eminently danceable , from the characteristically hot - blooded tempos of Cuban Salsa and Brazilian Lambada , to the traditional folk rhythms of Colombian Cumbia and Dominican Merengue , to the latest Latin pop , Caribbean reggae and the universally popular Spanish style Gipsy Kings sounds .
Palenke's line - up includes the traditional Latin rhythm section of piano , bass , congas , bongos and timbale , with London's "Queen of Salsa" , Adriana Santanna on lead vocals , captivating her audience with her magnetic voice and sensual dancing .
