In 1997, Maxine was a grand finalist in Granada TV's ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ after winning her heat as Lulu .

Following the success of her ‘Lulu’ show Maxine landed a lead role in Bill Kenwright’s original West End production of “The Roy Orbison Story” playing the parts of Patsy Cline , Dusty Springfield & K.D. Lang , where she received rave reviews .

Currently she’s touring with her Lulu and Dusty Springfield shows and is also in constant demand as one of the countries top session singers , which includes performing as lead/back up singer in the 8 piece soul review - ‘The James Brown Experience’.
