Eric was a founder member of Thin Lizzy , with Phil Lynott , in Dublin in the early 1970s .

He is the person who took "Whiskey In The Jar" , which at the time was
a traditional Irish song , and transformed it into the rock classic we all know today ,
with Eric's blistering guitar work .

Eric now tours with his own 3 piece band , performing a mix of great Irish songs ,
original material , and some fantastic rock songs from the early years of Thin Lizzy ,
including "The Rocker" , and of course , "Whiskey In The Jar" .
