Indian Fusion Artiste Arnab , was introduced to the wonderful world of music by his father
at the tender age of 4 , where he was placed under the guidance of Pandit Buddhadev Dasgupta , and under his guru Arnab explored the rich tradition of Indian music and built a deep interest in the repertoire of Senia Sahajahanpur Gharana .

Arnab's performances pay tribute to the greatest contributors of Sarod and to the style of Senia Sahajahanpur Gharana . He has a unique ability to weave the most intricate textures of sound , even at extremely high speed whilst maintaining the purity of the Raga , and with this passion and dedication for music , coupled with his knowledge acquired by his love of Gharana , has created his own signature style of Sarod .

In acknowledgement of his extraordinary performances in concerts all over India , and collaborating with artistes from all over the globe , Arnab has been awarded "Sarod Sunder" , "Sarod Nayak" and "Nabin Sarod" .
